You've hit the nail on the head, Mom. We will be looking to you and Dad to teach us how to exist in a REAL Depression as it doesn't look good right now. The banks are hording the money the govt. has given them and the stock market keeps going down no matter what the govt. says or does and now the gas is sneaking up. We are all going to have to sacrifice a little for the good of all. I just hope Obama's health holds out. The world is excited about his hope though. Maybe that will turn the tide. God knows, he's trying. What a good man. And won't it be nice to see the girls grow up in the White House again.

I agree. I wrote the Pantagraph that on Tuesday two people in my life were so excited about the day. It was my mother who is 77 and my daughter who is 25. How unusual to have 2 generations of women one from the depression age and one from the ME age both support and get involved in a presidential candidate! And this really tells you how good a man and inspiring he is to get the oldest and the youngest members of the country involved and wanting CHANGE. GO OBAMA! I just hope the cynics give the country a chance to change.
