It is great to get on the Jones blog and read/see what everyone is up to. Thanks Chris for getting this setup. I check it all the time for updates.
Mom you are so right...I am looking forward to the next 4 years with Obama. Finally change can happen! He is already busy making changes in only his first week in office. I am excited to see what happens next and am only optimistic that times will get better.
It has been cold here in Atlanta, but today is was in the upper 60's!
Chance is keeping me busy...he seems to need so much attention...and loves walks! Thanks to everyone for all the cards and phone calls on Max. Your support was truly appreciated. You can always count on family.
Work is going well. I thought there may be more layoffs soon, but it seems that they are going to try some other alternatives before they have to make that difficult decision. I am busy preparing W2's and working on setting up a voluntary life and short term disability program.
Hope to travel to see some family this year since I wasn't able to come home for Xmas.
Love, John

Well, I like when Bird had a comment how everyone spent the day on Inauguration day and thought it would be good to get the families thoughts and hopes for the next four years. I thing if I post that maybe I will get a response. I would love people to maybe make a little video of them talking where I could post them and maybe make a story about a family and their political thoughts. I find it really interesting that a 78 year old woman has as much passion for politics as a 25 year old and we all run the gambit as far as our thoughts. Any ideas? I'm glad Chance is with you John.
I know it has been so hard for you. Just try to make it till the spring as Jim feel it being winter time people are depressed and the springtime helps them. I don't know about that. I just want our family...all of us to make it in life and not be hurt by this economy. I'm really worried about all of us...
love, chris
John, it was great to hear you're doing better. The weather in Atlanta is similar to Dallas. You just usually get it a day or two later. I'm going to South Carolina this year to see my friend with Susan my other friend the end of April. This girl lives in a very exclusive plantation retirement community and falls all over herself showing us a good time (she rides horses, too). I can't wait.Am trying to see if I can arrange a trip to Ill. in March. We'll see. Dad, good luck with your cataract surgery. They do them all the time so it is just routine anymore. Chris, I'll see what I can do about as video. Bird
